Throwback Thursday: Planning with AI

Have you wondered how common AI tools could help you to create lesson plans?

If so, look no further.

In our post from September 2023, ā€œPlanning with AI 101: From Curious to Competent AI-Curious,ā€ Kourtney explores current AI tools that will help you plan better and more efficiently.

Not only planning better and more efficiently, the article shows you how to ā€œcoachā€ tools to give you exactly what you need and provide recommendations for tools to fulfill certain planning goals.

AI EdTech Tool: Wisdolia for Making Flashcards in a Flash!

Flashcards are fantastic!

Students can quiz themselves easily to study. Furthermore, they help students solidify key terms and think through potential assessment questions.

But, making flashcards is so time-consuming.

Whether youā€™re creating physical or virtual flashcards, it is a pain to make them!

Wisdolia, an AI-powered EdTech tool, offers a time-saving solution!

The first step is to upload a webpage, YouTube, or PDF with the content you want your students to study.

Once uploaded, Wisdoliaā€™s AI creates flashcards based on the content.

(Tip: until you log in, it seems to limit you to very few questions. Once you log in, it will create larger flashcard sets for you!)

For example, I found the Wikipedia page for the French and Indian War and provided that to Wisdolia. In less than a minute, it crawled the webpage and created about 100 flashcards based on the content!

While studying, you have two options: provide an answer for it to analyze or ask it to show you the answer. If you provide an answer, it will provide AI-generated and specific feedback!

You can save a subset of the created cards, edit the questions and answers as needed, and even export the cards to Anki - a very popular flashcard software.

So, do yourself and your students a favor - check out https://app.wisdolia.com to learn more and try it out for yourself!
